  1. These photos make me think the building “facades” are metaphorical portraits. Looking further at Gaudrillot-Roy’s website I was interested to see how he works back and forth primary subjects of architecture and human/portrait.

    As far as I can see the architectural “facade” look seemless. They seem visually believable. I am left thinking about how one moves through space with only the outsides, facade views visible, unless one has been “inside” a space/place/event and then can have more recall and imagination of full dimensions.

    When walking, driving, etc. one can move through spaces, brushing by and never knowing how deep a place/space/person/experience really is. In part one can only see the world through the personal lens, and yet on the other if we do not imagine more, our ability for empathy is lost.
